Savory Hamantaschen

After having gastric bypass, I have to carefully watch my sugar intake. While I can have a little bit, too much sugar causes the dreaded dumping syndrome.

Of course, in the past few months, I have discovered a love of baking as a stress reliever. I know, great timing for me, right? My kids are thrilled, and I have had a lot of fun experimenting with different recipes.

With Purim coming up, I promised my kids I would bake hamantaschen with them this week. Let me just tell you - I HATE mohn. I think that poppyseed filling is one of the most disgusting inventions ever created. That being said, I was surfing the web today for some new ideas when I ran across this...
